"Eloxochitlan de Flores Magón is one of the 570 municipalities that make up the state of
Oaxaca. Located in the far north Sierra Mazateca region, this municipality borders several
other coffee-growing regions Osito has the good fortune of working in, where the lot and
farm sizes are extremely small, with some producers delivering only five to ten kilograms of dry parchment a year. A predominantly Mazatec - speaking community Eloxochitlan de Flores Magón, sits between 400 to 2000 m.a.s.l. A dedicated group of 28 producers each respectively contributed, on average, lots of 70 kg. to this community micro-lot of the Typica, Mundo Novo, Caturra, and Bourbon varieties, which were grown at 1,500 m.a.s.l."
