
Papua New Guinea Big Red is a medium roast coffee with notes of raspberry, juniper, and orange peel. This bean is a naturally processed Maragogype varietal and is grown at an elevation of 1600 m.a.s.l.
Maragogype, "the elephant bean", was a mutation of the Typica variety. The large size of the fruit and bean gives this coffee its name of "Big Red".
