Ingredients: Taiwanese white tea
White Peony is a naturally oxidized white tea, meaning each leaf will darken differently as it is simply plucked, withered, and dried in its natural state! It does have subtle peony notes, earthy middle, and a sweet finish. In the first steep, the caffeine is low, as a lower temp and quick brew time is used. But white tea does technically contain the most caffeine, as it uses some of the youngest of leaves. So beware that as you resteep this tea, more caffeine will be drawn out!
Recommended brewing:
Tea: 1 tsp or 3g per 8oz cup
Water Temp: 170 F
Time: 3-5 Min
(when re-steeping start with 1 min + add 30 sec each time until leaves are fully open or taste is no longer desired)
